ADAPAZARI WORKSHOP
Our CNC Workshop
production heritage since 1989 in Adapazarı Tekeler Neighborhood, Sakarya — combined with modern CNC technology.
Sakarya's Natural Stone Production Hub
The Sipahi Marble workshop, located next to the Sakarya Commodity Exchange (Çevre Yolu Cad. No: 108, Tekeler Neighborhood, Adapazarı 54040), delivers production services for marble, granite and natural stone applications with experience since 1989 and CNC technology.
Our MERSİS-registered headquarters is in Serdivan; production and storage take place at the Adapazarı workshop. Fast access is provided to all districts across Sakarya, and thanks to our İMİB membership (Registration No 336480) export shipments are also coordinated from the workshop.
PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES

5-Axis Backbone
Our production workshop in Adapazarı Tekeler Neighborhood houses the main equipment fleet required for natural stone fabrication under one roof. The backbone is a 5-axis CNC machining center, capable of completing complex geometries, curved facade panels, waterjet details and joint cutting in a single pass. The CNC line generates automatic nesting programs from architectural shop drawings to minimize material waste.
For raw slab cutting, a high-capacity bridge saw operates in the workshop; it can cut slabs up to 3.2 meters in a single pass. On the calibration-honing line, slab thickness is standardized to ±0.3 mm precision, and the polishing belt produces polished, honed and leathered finish types. The shot-blasting unit is set up as a separate line for flamed and brushed exterior surface textures.
Cut-to-size fabrication is possible from 12 mm up to 80 mm in various thicknesses. Beyond standard sizes, project-specific custom-size production requests are fully supported. Jumbo slab support (320x160 cm and above), curved facade panels, single-piece vanity tops, island countertops, staircase steps and large-format interior floor tiles — all product types are produced in the same workshop.
PRODUCTION FLOW
From Block to Pallet
Production flow begins with the acceptance of the block or slab arriving from the quarry into the workshop. At each inbound shipment, a block identity card (quarry, quality class, vein direction, production date) is recorded, and a tracking number is steel-marked onto the slab. This number moves with the product until the end of production, providing traceability at every stage.
In the second stage, a CAD-CAM program is prepared based on shop drawings. Cutting layout on the slab is optimized with nesting software; vein direction, pattern matching and color homogeneity criteria are entered into the system. After the approved cutting plan, a work order is issued to the bridge saw or CNC line. Cut-to-size pieces are then routed to edge profiling (bullnose, ogee, chamfer, straight edge) and surface finishing.
The final stage is quality control, packaging and shipping preparation. Each cut-to-size piece is checked for dimension (±0.5 mm tolerance verification) and surface homogeneity, then placed on an ISPM-15 stamped wooden pallet. After the pallet is wrapped with stretch film and corner protection cardboard, it is handed over to the shipping department with a photo report. Domestic truck delivery or export container loading is coordinated according to the planned schedule.
QUALITY CONTROL
12-Point Checklist
The Sipahi workshop quality-control procedure is structured around a 12-stage checklist. It starts with quarry acceptance control, then covers raw slab surface and vein verification, thickness measurement, dimension cutting control, edge profile homogeneity, finish surface testing (gloss measurement, honed texture verification), color-card comparison, crack and hairline observation, pre-packaging final check, pallet photo documentation and pre-dispatch loading control.
Photos taken for each pallet before dispatch are sent to the customer via e-mail or WhatsApp; this step is a mutual approval point, particularly for distant destinations and export orders. Where color-and-vein matching is critical in facade projects, serial production from a single block source is guaranteed; transitions between different blocks are never mixed within a single order.
EQUIPMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE
Workshop Inventory
The main equipment fleet installed in the workshop, as a generic overview: 5-axis CNC machining center, bridge saw, waterjet cutting unit, calibration-honing line, polishing line (polished/honed/leathered finish), shot-blasting line (flamed/brushed finish), edge profiling (bullnose, ogee, chamfer), automatic nesting software, forklift and crane systems, steel marking and tracking barcode system, pallet-stretch packaging line.
Supporting infrastructure includes an electric generator, industrial air compressor, wastewater treatment unit (marble cutting slurry) and dust extraction system. For personnel safety, periodic OHS training in coordination with an accredited OSGB provider, personal protective equipment (PPE) supply and equipment maintenance routines are implemented. Environmental impact management of the workshop is compliant with Ministry of Environment regulations.
WORKSHOP TOUR
Visit Procedure
For a workshop tour, the number of participants, visit duration and photo/video permission are coordinated in advance. Special sessions can be arranged for group visits (architectural offices, student groups, sector meetings). During the visit, OHS rules require a hard hat, safety glasses and closed shoes; these items are provided to visitors at the workshop entrance.
For international buyer visits, English, Arabic and Russian technical interpreter coordination and hotel recommendations are provided. Thanks to Sakarya's distance to İstanbul (~150 km) and 1.5–2 hours to the airport, day-trip visits are possible; for multi-day visits, hotel recommendations in İstanbul and transfer coordination can be arranged.
Workshop Visit
You are welcome to visit our workshop by appointment for sample review, material selection and project consultation. Airport transfer coordination can be arranged for international visitors.
