ARCHITECT NEEDS
During spec review the architect compares colors, textures and finishes side by side. Sipahi prepares an architect kit of 10 or more short sample panels from Turkey's leading production regions; the digital package (high-resolution photos, technical data PDFs) is shared in parallel via email.
Standards compliance is critical for architectural specification. Sipahi provides a PDF sheet for each supplied stone with typical values for compressive (ASTM C170), flexural (ASTM C880), density (ASTM C97), water absorption (TS EN 13755), abrasion resistance (TS EN 14157) and freeze-thaw (TS EN 12371).
Detail resolution on facade, floor, countertop and staircase saves architects time. Sipahi collaborates on shop drawings covering slab layout, vein direction (vein-cut vs cross-cut), finish transitions and anchor points. CSI MasterFormat Section 04 43 00 (Stone) spec blocks are shared as drafts.
For green building projects Sipahi attaches origin certificate, distance calculation and producer certificates to the submittal for MR Credit 5 (Regional Materials — within 800 km radius) and EQ Credit 4.1 (VOC — marble is inherently low-emission). Chemical content declarations for WELL v2 X01 (Material Restrictions) are also prepared.
For restoration or extension projects, architects need to match the character of existing historic or modern stone. Sipahi identifies the closest alternative from Turkey's production regions based on photos, sample pieces or spec numbers; vein direction and finish are adjusted to the match.
Anchor solution defines structural safety and long-term durability in facade cladding. As a 3rd-generation family firm, Sipahi has expertise on AISI 316 stainless steel mechanical anchor systems (Halfen-style, Fischer-style, clip + pin); anchor type and spacing recommendations are shared with the architect's structural team.

The architecture team can physically review 50+ stock panels at our Sakarya Adapazarı Tekeler showroom. During a scheduled visit, project-specific sample selection and technical data package are prepared same-day. Short road access for İstanbul, Ankara, Bursa-based studios.
For remote studios Sipahi couriers a set of 100 x 100 mm short panels; the digital package (high-resolution photos, technical PDF, short application video, pricing tier table) is shared by email simultaneously. Domestic courier lead time 2-4 business days.
For spec dossier preparation, architects can request a one-page PDF spec sheet from Sipahi for each selected stone. Each sheet lists technical values, standard references, a typical application photo, production region, typical lead time and available finish options.
Sipahi shares coordination experience from Ada Hayat (Adapazarı Municipality urban regeneration facade program) with the architect team. Panel dimensioning, anchor spacing, joint width, finish preference and open-joint / closed-joint alternatives are worked through jointly with the architect.

For EQ Credit 4.1 (Low-Emitting Materials), marble's inherent low VOC character is declared. For MRc4 (Recycled Content), the partner fabrication offcut recovery ratio is reported.
