Natural Stone Supply for Wholesalers and Distributors

Distributor-facing stone supply runs on four axes: container loading, quality consistency, export documentation and regional exclusivity. Since 1989 Sipahi Marble has organized Turkey's supply network around this export rhythm; applications from GCC, EU, US, Balkans and Kazakhstan markets are actively reviewed.

WHOLESALER / DISTRIBUTOR NEEDS

Bulk, Consistency, Certification — 6 Core Needs

Bulk supply and container loading

For a wholesaler or distributor the economic floor is a full container — 20ft or 40ft. Mixed-stone consolidation, homogeneous batch vein continuity and in-container stacking directly affect pricing. The supplier must run tight container planning discipline.

Quality consistency — vein and tone across batches

The wholesaler guarantees quality to their own customers; any vein or tone drift between two shipments damages reputation. Sipahi offers a per-producer-batch photo approval step before order; on reorder the same producer relationship is engaged.

Regional partnership and exclusivity

A distributor wants exclusive supplier status in a defined market geography (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Almaty, Pristina, Miami, etc.). Beyond brand equity this protects against price competition. Sipahi negotiates a region-based distributorship framework on request.

Export documentation package

The distributor needs — for their country's customs and their customer — CE Declaration of Performance, certificate of origin, ISPM-15 pallet stamp, ATR (for EU), where required GCC customs Conformity Certificate and fumigation certificate. The supplier must offer this package as standard.

Block supply + multi-stone consolidation

An export wholesaler often wants to send different stone types in one consolidated container — a 12+ ton marble block alongside travertine slabs, basalt tile or emperador sample packs. This consolidation requires expertise and disciplined planning against order volume and port proximity.

Export-market specific stamping and labeling

A distributor bringing product to market under their own brand wants pallet, packaging and container stamping to their spec. Some markets (GCC, US) enforce strict customs labeling rules. The supplier must be able to produce label material (labels, stamping templates, pallet-top promotional panels) on order.

SIPAHI SERVICE PACKAGE

6 Support Lines for the Distributor

20ft and 40ft FCL container planning

Sipahi standard: 20ft ~20-24 tons (300-400 m² slab), 40ft ~40-48 tons. For block orders, 12+ ton single blocks or multi-block consolidation is possible. Stacking, weight distribution and sea-freight safety are covered with ISPM-15 stamped crates + wooden pallets + edge protectors.

Multi-stone consolidation

Sipahi plans consolidation of different stone types (Bilecik-Söğüt beige + Muğla-Milas white + Denizli travertine + Kütahya emperador) in a single container. Batch distribution follows the distributor's market demand; invoicing and customs documentation are prepared with stone-type detail.

ISPM-15 stamped export palletizing

For US, GCC, EU, Balkan and Kazakhstan lanes, ISPM-15 stamped fumigated wooden pallets are the standard. Sipahi uses this packaging by default; anti-slip corner protection, stretch film and labeling inside the container are applied. A photo shipment report is prepared for each container.

Distributor-brand specific stamping

If the distributor requests their own brand, logo or market-specific labeling, Sipahi produces pallet-top promotional panels, packaging labels and in-container stamping. This service is added on top of the standard supply, per order.

50+ stone types in stock — Adapazarı supply center

Sipahi maintains 50+ Turkish natural stone panels in stock at the Sakarya Adapazarı Tekeler supply center — Bilecik-Söğüt beige, Muğla-Milas white, Denizli travertine, Afyon travertine, Marmara Island white, Kütahya emperador, Elazığ cherry, Diyarbakır Karacadağ basalt and more. The distributor can move catalog panels to their own showroom.

GCC / EU / US / Balkans / Kazakhstan distributorship

Sipahi's active export focuses: GCC (Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 hotel-residential pipeline, Qatar, Bahrain), EU (Germany, Netherlands, Poland), US (Miami, NYC, Chicago architecture studio network — Coverings 2027), Balkans (Kosovo, North Macedonia), Kazakhstan (Almaty Talan Towers model, Astana turnkey). New distributorship applications from these markets are prioritized.

SIPAHI 4-STEP MODEL

Catalog Panels → Container Planning → Partner Fabrication → Container Shipment

  1. Catalog panels + market needs review: Distributor market demand is analyzed; 10-15 stones from the 50+ stock are shared as a short panel + digital data package. The distributor can request full slabs or cut-to-size samples for their own showroom.
  2. Container planning + batch reservation: Stone distribution across 20ft or 40ft is planned against weight and port proximity. Multi-producer batches are reserved; for heavy-block preference, a 12+ ton block offer is prepared.
  3. Partner fabrication + vein approval: If cut-to-size is needed, partner workshop engages; vein selection is offered as a photo approval step to the distributor. Sipahi remains single coordinator.
  4. ISPM-15 palletizing + container loading + docs: Sea shipment from Ambarlı, İzmit, İzmir Aliağa or Mersin port. Photo shipment report, CE + origin + ATR + pallet stamp declaration and container tracking number are shared.

EXPORT MARKETS

GCC · EU · US · Balkans · Kazakhstan — Active Distributor Markets

Sipahi's Turkey supply network is planned to serve five export geographies concurrently. GCC demand — driven by the Saudi Vision 2030 hotel-residential pipeline — is heavy on travertine and beige marble. EU residential and office projects in Germany, Netherlands and Poland absorb Turkish white marble and emperador series.

The US market anchor for 2027 is Coverings Orlando (April 6-9). Pre-scheduled meetings with Miami, NYC, LA and Chicago architecture studios are opened around the show. Balkans (Kosovo Pristina, North Macedonia Skopje) and Kazakhstan (Almaty Talan Towers model, Astana turnkey) markets are active partnership targets. FREQUENTLY ASKED

Distributor Supply — 8 Critical Questions

What is the minimum order for a wholesaler?

For export orders the economic floor is a 20ft full container (about 20-24 tons / 300-400 m² slab). Not a strict rule — a half-container + LTL solution can be arranged for a pilot order. When mixed-stone consolidation is used, a 40ft container is often more economical. For domestic wholesalers there is no minimum; catalog panel sets ship as LTL.

How is multi-stone container consolidation planned?

The distributor shares ratio and volume distribution across stone types by market demand — e.g. 50% Bilecik-Söğüt beige + 30% Muğla-Milas white + 20% Denizli travertine in a 40ft container. Sipahi plans batches accordingly; invoicing and customs documentation carry stone-type detail. Stacking sequence follows weight distribution and unloading ergonomics.

Do you supply blocks?

Yes. 12+ ton typical blocks, up to 2.4 x 1.2 x 1.2 m, sourced from Turkey's leading production regions. Distributors with their own import + fabrication operations often choose blocks for higher margin. A 40ft container typically carries 25-30 tons of block; heavier orders route to specialist handling.

What is in the export documentation package?

Standard package: CE Declaration of Performance, per-batch producer test certificate, İMİB Registry declaration, certificate of origin (Chamber of Commerce endorsed), ISPM-15 stamped pallet declaration, ATR (for EU), invoice, packing list. On request GCC Conformity Certificate (SASO Saudi Arabia, GSO Gulf), US Chain-of-Custody declaration and fumigation certificate are added.

Are region-exclusive distributorship rights granted?

Negotiated for specific markets. Prerequisites: active sales channel in that market, a showroom or B2B customer portfolio. The contract commits an annual minimum-order volume in exchange for region exclusivity. A candidate distributor typically visits Sakarya Adapazarı and reviews Sipahi's existing export-market map before framing the deal. Following Coverings 2027 Orlando, Berkay Sipahi (MD) coordinates US distributorship discussions directly.

Can the distributor sell under their own brand?

Yes. White-label / private-label approach is open: Sipahi applies packaging, labeling and pallet-top promotional panels to the distributor's brand. This service is added on top of standard supply, per order; the distributor protects their market brand equity.

Which are Sipahi's active export markets?

Active focuses: GCC (Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 hotel-residential pipeline, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE), EU (Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Belgium), US (post-Coverings 2027 Orlando expansion — Miami, NYC, LA, Chicago), Balkans (Kosovo Pristina, North Macedonia Skopje), Kazakhstan (Almaty Talan Towers model, Astana turnkey), Azerbaijan (Baku residential and hotel pipeline). Distributorship applications from these markets are prioritized.

How is producer-batch consistency maintained for reorders?

Sipahi records which producer batch shipped on the first order. When a reorder opens, the same producer contacts are engaged to prepare a batch of similar character; the distributor may request a photo approval report. Batch variance is a reality in natural stone, but this workflow largely preserves tone and vein continuity between two shipments.

Distributorship Application

Share company name, market geography, active sales channels and stone types of interest. Sipahi returns an initial review within 24-48 hours. For US distributorship discussions following Coverings 2027 Orlando, Berkay Sipahi (MD) is the direct point of coordination.
