Countertop Material Options

Granite: a natural volcanic rock, among the hardest countertop materials. Popular varieties include Star Galaxy, Black Galaxy, G682, G654, Verde Marina, Steel Grey.

Marble: Carrara, Calacatta, Mugla White — classic elegance. Lower surface tolerance than granite; acid protection is important.

Quartz (composite): Çimstone, Belenco, Silestone — uniform colour, hygienic, low maintenance.

Porcelain: slim (12 mm) large-format panels — ideal for modern minimal kitchens.

Onyx: light-transmitting decorative panels — for splashbacks and bar tops in premium projects.

CNC Cutting Technology

All countertops produced at Sipahi Marble are cut on CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. This eliminates dimensional errors, off-set sink cut-outs and edge profile imperfections. CNC cutting supports more than 10 edge profiles including standard straight edge, bevelled (chamfer), half-bull, ogee and classic profiles. Sink, hob, faucet and dispenser cut-outs are produced with numerical precision (±0.5 mm).

Countertop Production Process

1. On-site templating: the kitchen layout is measured using a paper or digital template.

2. Workshop slab selection: client approves vein direction and visual quality of the raw slab.

3. CNC cutting: digital template is loaded; countertop form, sink and appliance cuts are made.

4. Edge profiling: the chosen profile is machined (polished, honed or brushed finish).

5. Surface preparation: polishing, protective sealer and impregnator coating (for granite/marble).

6. Installation: positioning on cabinets, sink and faucet connections, silicone joints and final handover.

Edge Profile Options

Countertop edge profile is selected based on aesthetic preference and kitchen usage. Popular options include: straight edge (modern minimal kitchens), bevelled (45° chamfer, classic elegance), half-bull (soft contours, safe for households with children), classic decorative, ogee (matching classic furniture) and custom profiles. All profiles are precision-machined on CNC at our workshop.

Granite Countertop Maintenance

As a natural stone, granite countertops benefit from annual impregnator sealer application. Daily cleaning should use neutral pH cleaners (mild dish soap or stone-specific products). Avoid acidic cleaners (lemon, vinegar), chlorine and abrasive products. Do not place hot pans directly on the surface; rare limescale stains can be removed with specialist marble/granite cleaners. With proper care, granite countertops remain as-new for 20+ years.

Countertop Pricing

Granite and marble countertop pricing varies by material type, thickness (2 cm / 3 cm), edge profile, sink count and bespoke detailing. As of 2027, indicative pricing per m²: domestic granite 3,500–6,000 TRY, imported granite 6,500–12,000 TRY, quartz 5,500–9,500 TRY, slim porcelain 8,000–15,000 TRY. Warranty and Lead Time

All Sipahi countertops carry a 2-year workmanship warranty. Standard kitchen countertop lead time is 7–14 working days from template. We can allocate priority production slots within 3–5 working days for urgent projects. Delivery within Sakarya and neighbouring provinces is free.

Workshop Visit and Samples

Sipahi Marble's workshop maintains 50+ granite, marble and quartz slabs in stock at all times. Clients can visit our workshop by appointment to inspect slabs in person and select vein direction. For remote clients, we provide free sample courier service.
