37 YEARS OF HERITAGE
From 1989 to Today
Sipahi Marble began operations in 1989 as a natural stone workshop in Sakarya, Serdivan, founded by Bektaş Sipahi. The journey he began has grown into a branded manufacturing and trading company managed today by the third generation of the family.
Initially limited to local projects, our production scope expanded in the 2000s to cover mechanical facade cladding, flooring installation and countertop fabrication. A direct sourcing network built with more than 50 marble and granite quarries across Türkiye became a strategic lever for the brand.
In the 2020s, the CNC workshop established in Adapazarı Tekeler Neighborhood took production capacity to the next level. Our 5-axis CNC line, cutting to ±0.5 mm tolerance from shop drawings, today produces stone solutions for architectural projects ranging from curved facade panels to complex geometric details.
Our membership with the Istanbul Mineral Exporters' Association (İMİB), approved on 24 August 2026 under registration number 336480, formalized the export-market phase of our corporate journey. Serving 7 provinces in Türkiye, we are also preparing US-market entry through Managing Director Berkay Sipahi's visitor attendance at Coverings 2027 in Orlando (April 6-9, 2027) for face-to-face buyer meetings.
CAPACITY & INFRASTRUCTURE
Two Locations, One Chain
Our physical infrastructure is structured across two locations. The MERSİS-registered head office in Serdivan is dedicated to commercial operations, quotations and contracts, architect-contractor meetings and technical office work. The production workshop at Çevre Yolu No: 108, Tekeler Neighborhood, Adapazarı handles block processing, slab cutting, cut-to-size fabrication and finished product storage.
The equipment fleet actively used in the workshop includes a 5-axis CNC machining center, a bridge saw, an automated polishing line, a calibration-honing unit and a shot-blasting section. Production is possible from 12 mm up to 80 mm thickness; jumbo slab, cut-to-size panels and profile cutting are all coordinated under one roof.
Direct sourcing relationships with more than 50 marble and granite quarries in Muğla, Denizli, Afyon, Antalya, Bilecik, Burdur and Balıkesir provide a decisive advantage in material variety and lead time. For large-scale projects requiring color and pattern matching, this network makes serial production from a single vein-block source possible.
INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
4 Languages, 10 Cities, One Registry
Our corporate communication infrastructure is delivered in four languages — Turkish, English, Arabic and Russian — enabling direct engagement with both domestic projects and international buyers. The website is live in all four languages, and the quotation and technical communication team is structured to coordinate multilingual B2B discussions.
Our US stone market expansion plan advances on our accredited İMİB membership (Registration 336480). Managing Director Berkay Sipahi will attend Coverings 2027 in Orlando, FL (April 6-9, 2027) as a visitor for face-to-face market discovery meetings with US architects, general contractors, distributors and suppliers. Export shipments to the Gulf, CIS, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and wider Turkic markets are organized from the workshop via container and TIR. Ten target US cities: New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Orlando and Washington D.C.
QUALITY & STANDARDS
12 Checks, One Signature
In natural stone manufacturing, quality is formed across the entire chain, not at a single stage. Sipahi Marble delivers after a 12-point quality-control routine that starts with quarry selection and ends with pre-dispatch inspection. Every shipment is sent with pallet-level photo reports and dimensional-tolerance measurement documentation.
The core reference standards for facade applications are TSE EN 1469 (Natural stone — Slabs for cladding) and, for mechanical facade systems, the TBDY 2018 seismic regulation. Steel components used in undercut anchor systems are specified as AISI 316 stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance that will not be affected by marine climate.
Curved facade applications above 5,000 m², undercut anchor details and projects meeting TBDY 2018 seismic zone requirements are among the work delivered to date. A ±0.5 mm manufacturing tolerance is guaranteed on shop drawings produced for architects and contractors; this tolerance is critical to meet the performance requirement of mechanical facade installation systems.
