What is a Ventilated Façade System?
A ventilated façade leaves a 4–8 cm air cavity between the building wall and the cladding panels, with natural air circulation from bottom and top vents. This cavity prevents moisture build-up, improves thermal insulation performance and reduces façade temperatures in summer through the chimney effect. While traditional bonded façades suffer from moisture and expansion issues, ventilated systems resolve these problems structurally.
